We are currently recruiting for the following role(s):

Ex-cellar Co-ordinator & Stock Planner

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy Shipping team.


Key responsibilities:

Management of ex-cellar transactions (customers’ direct orders, including relevant reporting).

- Liaison with the sales team, customers, suppliers and hauliers

- Ex-cellars invoice processing

- Forecasting of Portuguese and South American stock requirements in line with business profile, seasonality and promotions contributing to the company’s overall stock management

- Control and monitor supplier allocations in collaboration with buyers & Brand mangers

- Accurate entry of purchase orders and proforma verification

- Continually look for ways to maximise efficiencies within Shipping

- Associated stock control system maintenance – updating NAV and Liberty Pricing System with new vintages, freight and cost prices, reserving new vintage stock.

- Overseeing the delivery of orders into the bonded and duty paid warehouses, as well as any direct deliveries

- Monitor and performance manage freight forwarders to ensure value-for-money coupled with good service

- Any task associated with the Shipping department reasonably requested to undertake

- Input into strategy and development of the Shipping team and the wider back office function


Essential Skills & Experience:

- Some experience in stock planning, preferably in the drinks industry

- Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills

- Numerate and computer literate, including Microsoft Office

- Organised, flexible and self-motivated

- Team player

- Able to work under pressure

- Good level of written and spoken Portuguese & Spanish would be an advantage

- Knowledge of wine desirable but not essential


Salary and Benefits:

Salary is dependent on experience with the following:

Events Co-ordinator

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to work alongside the Events Manager with responsibility for assisting in the planning, delivery and management of all events across the Liberty Wines calendar.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist the Events Manager in the project management and delivery of all seven of Liberty Wines’ portfolio tastings, comprising of two annual portfolio tastings in London, February roadshow portfolio tastings and the annual portfolio tastings in Ireland

- Assist the Events Manager in the project management and delivery, with the brand management team, of additional country and category tastings (usually 2-4 per year) as well as Liberty Wines-organised supplier events and masterclasses (10-15 per year)

- Helping to co-ordinate Liberty Wines’ presence at externally organised trade and consumer events. 

- Project management includes invitations and RSVPs, budget management, tasting list preparation, product ordering, post-event reviews and analysis.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Minimum two years’ events experience, working to effective timelines and delivery plans on each project.

- Proven organisational skills

- Proven management skills

- Strong Excel skills.

- French/Italian speaking

Desirable Skills and Experience:

- Experience with food or beverage events

- Good wine knowledge

Warehouse Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team.   Reporting directly to the Warehouse Assistant Manager, the role will have responsibility for the following:

The Role:

Warehouse

- Picking and preparation of orders for despatch
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
- Ensuring service standards are maintained and work processes are followed and continually monitored to be improved

Stock Replenishment

- Stock put away from our daily stock replenishment
- Ensuring accuracy of stock put away into correct locations

General

- Working in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
- Any other reasonable tasks as required

Skills & Experience:

- Flexi forklift licence desired but not essential
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work unsupervised, and plan own workload
- Computer literate

Hours:

Early morning shift 4am – 12:30 and afternoon 1:30 – 10pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Customer Services Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Assistant to work in our vibrant Customer Services department. This role is the first point of contact for our wide range of customers and is responsible for delivering the great service that Liberty Wines takes pride in.

Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager, the successful candidate will be tasked with sales order processing, customer support services and problem resolution. Working as part of a close-knit team, we need people who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure exemplary service to each and every customer.

Skills & Experience:

- Reliable, conscientious with the ability to take ownership of issues
- Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Team oriented and able to build good working relationships
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to work things out logically
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy along with good IT skills
- Great written and oral communication skills

Previous experience in an order processing or customer services role is essential. Wine knowledge is not a pre-requisite but a willingness to learn is.
