Senior Designer

Are you a wine-loving creative with graphic design experience who would love to be part of one of London’s fastest-growing, award-winning wine companies?

International Wine Challenge’s Overall Merchant of the Year for 2018, Liberty Wines is looking for a new Senior Designer to lead our small but dynamic design team.  The visual side of our company identity has developed significantly over the last five years and you would be instrumental in taking it to the next stage.

You would look after the design and production of a wide variety of printed and digital marketing materials, ranging from our annual printed price list and bi-monthly e-list, through to ad-hoc wine label design, bottle photography and advertising material.

Known in the industry for looking after our staff and our customers, you would be encouraged to further your wine knowledge through our in-house Liberty Wines Academy and Wine & Spirit Education Trust courses, while also building your skills and experience and continuing your professional development.

Essential:

A minimum of two years’ experience in a busy creative environment
- Design degree
- Advanced InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and handle a range of projects simultaneously
- Management experience

Desirable:

Wine Knowledge (ideally WSET Level 2)
- Languages (French/Italian/Spanish)

Junior National On-Trade Account Manager

Are you an ambitious individual with a real passion for wine, strong work ethic and a drive to succeed? 

We are looking for a Junior National Account Manager to join our friendly National On-Trade team. This role would suit a quick-learner who has experience working in wine and a customer-focused, commercial outlook.

The role involves:

-
Managing several key national on-trade accounts (with the guidance of your line manager)
- Gaining responsibility over time for your own sales targets and P&L
- Assisting the team with new business tenders
- Learning about pricing strategies, budgets and margins
- Liaising with the Liberty Wines buying team and producers to work on own-label and NPD projects
- Working closely with Liberty Wines’ operation teams across brand management, supply chain, customer services and finance to help manage customer accounts
- Leveraging relationships across all levels to achieve the best results and deliver first class customer service
- Travelling to wine regions to provide the best platform for producers and buyers to meet

Skills & Experience:

-
Experience ideally within the UK National on-trade or other relevant sales role
- Understanding of the UK national on-trade market
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Responsive, efficient and a team player
- Highly skilled in Excel, PowerPoint and to a lesser extent, Word
- Numerate and commercially aware
- A good level of wine knowledge, preferably WSET Advanced Level

Warehouse Supervisor (Early Morning Shift)

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution team. Reporting to our Route Planner, this role will have responsibility for the following:

People Management

-
Supervise the early morning picking operation including:

- Assisting with planning of staff rotas
- Ensure picking accuracy and efficiency
- Assisting with co-ordination of unloading and put away of daily replenishment stock
- Coordinating van loading

- Implement continuous improvement ideas with warehouse staff
- Assist in leading team meetings and briefings

Warehouse

-
Picking and preparation of orders for despatch
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
- Ensuring service standards are maintained, work processes are followed, and are continually monitored to be improved
- Communicating issues for handover to the afternoon team

Health & Safety

Ensure the team works in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures

Skills & Experience:

-
Experience in supervising and motivating a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Pro-active, and able to manage and plan their own and others work
- Exceptional team work, and ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the company
- Articulated Fork Lift Licence desirable but not essential
- Computer literate

Hours:

- Monday to Friday 2.30am – 11.00am
- Possible variable shift pattern during the week with voluntary overtime during peak periods

Salary & Benefits:

Salary is dependent on experience, with the following:

- Discretionary personal bonus of up to 5% of basic salary based on performance against key objectives
- Participation in discretionary Company bonus scheme
