Marketing Assistant

We are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to be a part of our Brand Management team. The ideal candidate will be able to write articulately and fluently in English, speak Italian to a fluent or advanced level, have a solid level of wine knowledge, an interest in product data management and a keen eye for detail. If successful, you will work with colleagues across several teams to provide valuable marketing support services to our internal teams and customers.

The Role:
- Product information: Managing technical details and product fact sheet content for marketing materials and website;
- Supplier visits: Working with Brand Managers to create itineraries for visiting producers to maximise commercial success;
- Marketing support: Supporting the Sales and Brand Management team with marketing requests, such as creating event and training booklets, and other materials as required;
- Competitions: Coordinating entries for several awards competitions, maintaining awards results data;
- Trip planning: Planning various group trips to visit wine producers. Project managing trip logistics, itineraries, budgeting and producer liaison functions;
- Point of Sale materials: Consulting with Brand Managers to source available POS options from suppliers for promotions and year-round customer requests. Creation of POS brochures for customers with the Design team
- Brand Management support for Italian producers: planning time in trade in UK and Ireland, planning group trips out to producers, creating fact sheets for new products/vintages, collecting images, logos, bottle shots etc. for marketing materials

Skills and experience:
- Highly organised and efficient, with excellent attention to detail;
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential;
- Confident Italian language skills required;
- Previous experience in the wine trade is advantageous;
- A good level of wine knowledge, a minimum of WSET Level 2 preferable;
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat preferred.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary is dependent on experience with the following:
- Personal bonus of up to 5% of salary based on performance against key objectives;

Multi Drop Delivery Driver (sub contract)

An opportunity has arisen for a Multi Drop Delivery Driver (sub contract) to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution team.  Reporting to the Route Planner this role is responsible for the following:

Delivery Role
- Must have own van with the load capacity of Peugeot L2 Boxer or equivalent with satnav;
- Bluetooth hands free phone;
- Multi drop deliveries following a routed manifes;
- Carrying out customer collections;
- High attention to detail when following delivery and collection instructions;
- Full logging of required information upon completion of each delivery/collection;
- Completed delivery paperwork to be returned on time;
- All deliveries to be treated with the upmost care and attention;
- Must be fully compliant with all driver performance criteria.

Health & Safety
Work in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures. Must comply with Health and Safety requirements.

Person Specification

Hours
Tuesday to Friday 7am to 3pm with a willingness to be flexible when required and also work extra hours during peak periods.

Warehouse Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team.   Reporting directly to the Warehouse Assistant Manager, the role will have responsibility for the following:

The Role:

Warehouse

- Picking and preparation of orders for despatch
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
- Ensuring service standards are maintained and work processes are followed and continually monitored to be improved

Stock Replenishment

- Stock put away from our daily stock replenishment
- Ensuring accuracy of stock put away into correct locations

General

- Working in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
- Any other reasonable tasks as required

Skills & Experience:

- Flexi forklift licence desired but not essential
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work unsupervised, and plan own workload
- Computer literate

Hours:

Early morning shift 4am – 12:30 and afternoon 1:30 – 10pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Part-time Evening Customer Services Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Evening Customer Services Assistant to work in our vibrant Customer Services department. This role is the first point of contact for our wide range of customers and is responsible for delivering the great service that Liberty Wines takes pride in.

Many of our customers take advantage of our overnight ordering service for London and our Warehouse and Customer Services teams facilitate managing, processing, and despatching those orders. 

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritising and processing emailed and answerphone orders throughout the evening Monday to Wednesday each week. Working as part of a close-knit team, we need people who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure exemplary service to each and every customer.

Skills & Experience:
- Reliable, conscientious with the ability to take ownership of issues;
- Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks;
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks:
- Team oriented and able to build good working relationships;
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to work things out logically;
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy along with good IT skills;
- Great written and oral communication skills;

Previous experience of an order processing or customer services role is essential.  Wine knowledge is not essential but a willingness to learn is.

Hours of work will be 2pm to 10.30pm Monday to Wednesday, however for initial training hours will be 9am – 5.30pm.
