Business Support Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute Business Support Analyst to join our busy Finance team.  Reporting to the Head of Finance you will have a good understanding of business processes and be fully responsible for providing first class analysis of the business across the company and maximising the impact of our systems.

This role is a varied one and key responsibilities include:

Reporting & Analysis:

-
Producing and developing all regular reports across the business – from monthly/quarterly KPI reporting and sales dashboards to bespoke analysis including annual range review and carbon reporting
- Providing ad hoc analysis which drive sales, service or efficiencies
- Providing analysis and producing excel templates for budget modelling
- Ensure the reporting databases are accurate and contain the relevant information to enable effective reporting

Systems Development:

- Working with all business units and Head of Finance to drive the development of systems in conjunction with IT
- Ensure staff in all departments have a good understanding of how to use the systems that they need to do their work efficiently and accurately
- Develop and maintain the SSAS cube so that it provides accurate and easy to use information
- Assist IT manager / Head of Finance with testing of upgrades and new systems

Skills & Experience:

-
Exceptional IT skills particularly with knowledge of how systems work together
- Respond to day to day queries relating to system problems or development
- First class Excel skills
- Intermediate-Advanced SQL Server, ideally including SSAS
- Ability to analyse and present data to non-technical staff
- In depth knowledge of ERP systems preferably with Microsoft Nav
- Proactive and able to understand business needs and take ownership of process improvements
- Excellent people skills and ability to communicate to all levels across the company

Wine knowledge is not essential but a willingness to learn is.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary is dependent on experience with the following:

Warehouse Supervisor (evening shift)

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution team.  Reporting to the Evening Shift Team Leader, this role is responsible for the following:

People Management
-
Supervise the evening picking operation ensuring picking accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with planning staff rotas
- Implement continuous improvement ideas with warehouse staff
- Assist in leading team meetings and briefings

Warehouse
-
Picking and preparation of orders for despatch
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
- Ensuring service standards are maintained, work processes are followed, and are continually monitored to be improved
- Communicating issues for handover to the morning team

Health & Safety

Ensure that all Health and Safety requirements and policies are adhered to

Skills & Experience:
-
Experience in supervising and motivating a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Pro-active, and able to manage and plan their own and others work
- Exceptional team work, and ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the company
- Articulated Fork Lift Licence desirable but not essential
- Computer literate

Hours:
-
Monday to Thursday 3.00pm – 11.30pm and Friday 10am to 6:30pm
- Possible variable shift pattern during the week with voluntary overtime during peak periods

Senior Marketing Assistant

We are recruiting a Senior Marketing Assistant to join our fast-paced Customer Business Support team. The role is a varied one and will have managerial responsibility for one Marketing Assistant.  The Customer Business Support team is a multi-faceted department which focuses on value-added services for our customers.

Key responsibilities include managing product marketing information and working with various Liberty Wines departments on customer communications and producer itineraries as well as supporting the Sales team with marketing requests. The role also includes managing our vintage change communication email to customers, which entails working closely with several Operational teams for product data management.

Skills & Experience:

- Highly organised and efficient, with excellent attention to detail
- Fluent written and spoken English, is essential
- An interest in marketing and previous experience in the wine trade is advantageous
- A good level of wine knowledge, ideally a minimum of WSET Level 3
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat

Mateus Business Manager

Mateus Rosé is one of the oldest and most loved wine brands in the UK, ranked no. 5 by volume in the Rosé sector with a dedicated and extremely loyal following. Exciting developments are planned to bring Mateus to a wider audience in 2018 with this role being key to its success.

We are recruiting a Business Manager who will be responsible for implementing and further developing the Mateus UK brand plan in all channels of the UK market.

You will work closely with Sogrape, the brand owner/producer and the Sales/National Accounts teams to identify opportunities and drive market growth.

This role will be perfect for an individual with extensive commercial marketing experience who has a tenacious and thorough approach as well as strong communication and analytical skills. The ability to multi-task is essential.

Skills and Experience:

- Existing experience in marketing wine or commercial marketing in other categories
- Experience of the off-trade/grocery sector and an understanding of commercial make-up of promotional structures
- Strong communication skills along with an organised, tenacious and thorough approach
- Good analytical skills
- Knowledge of wine is an advantage
