Sales Scotland

An opportunity has arisen within our Sales team in Scotland for an ambitious individual with a determination to succeed to help strengthen our team and drive our success even further.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the most interesting, quality led wine portfolios in the UK.  The list ranges from internationally recognised producers to small regional specialists.   Critically awarded for our selection from Italy and Australia, the portfolio encompasses wines from all over the world.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales with existing customers, delivering a highly professional standard of account management as well as developing new business opportunities.

Applicants for this role ideally will have proven trade sales experience with a track record of developing sales amongst a variety of accounts.

Skills & Experience:

An in-depth knowledge of the on-trade and off-trade is essential as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of customers
- Demonstrate core competencies for success in a Sales role

Sales Support Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a Sales Support Supervisor to support our busy Sales Department and manage a team of two.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Business Support, this is a varied and busy role.

Role & Responsibilities:

Assist in all areas of sales support work including, but not limited to:

- Manage customer online purchasing systems
- Production of monthly reports and analysis for key customers, sales incentives, stock reports, etc.
- Creation of bespoke reports and dashboards for specific customers
- Development of Quotebuilder tool in conjunction with Business Analyst, work with Sales team to put proposals together, analyse margins and suggest/produce proposal lists for customers as directed by the Sales team
- Deal with day-to-day requests from Sales team and provide back office assistance using all Liberty systems and information
- Manage Sales Support Assistants in maintenance of prospect database, recording and tracking of prospects and web enquiries and maintenance of customer database, making account changes daily
- Booking and organisation of full and team Sales meetings and trainings
- Helping the Sales team at tastings, consumer events and staff training where needed
- Manage the performance and development of Sales Support Assistants

Skills & Experience:

Customer Services Assistant

A new opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Assistant to work in our vibrant Customer Services department. This role is the first point of contact for our wide range of customers and is responsible for delivering the great service that Liberty Wines takes pride in.

Credit Controller

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy Credit Control team. The role is an integral part of the Credit Control team which manage over 3,000 accounts and grow every month.

Key Responsibilities:

-
Chasing overdue debts in the UK and Ireland by phone, letter and email
- Credit checking new and existing customers
- Processing new account applications
- Posting the daily banking and allocations of payments
- Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements
- Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
- Liaising with the Sales and Customer Service teams on credit control issues
- Working to monthly and annual collections targets

Skills & Experience:

-
Credit control experience required, wine industry experience beneficial but not essential
- Strong IT skills including Excel & Microsoft NAV an advantage
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate to a large range of people
- Team player

Sales Manager: London

The Role:
Responsible for managing and growing sales with existing customers, delivering a highly professional standard of account management as well as developing new business opportunities. Management and development of direct reports in close liaison with the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Sell the Liberty Wines portfolio to the on and off-trade within designated area
- Maintain and develop existing customer accounts to achieve FY budgeted revenue and margin target
- Develop new business opportunities to achieve FY new business target
- Manage sales of specific brands/products to annually agreed targets
- Manage expenses to budget
- Contribute to the strategy and development of immediate and wider Sales teams e.g. at team meetings
- Act as an ambassador for Liberty Wines at all times
- Participate in and promote Liberty Wines events such as tastings and tutorials and support customer activity

Line Management Responsibilities:

Regularly review and analyse direct reports’ Sales vs. Budget report

Head of Customer Business Support

We are recruiting a Head of Customer Business Support. Managing a team of 8, the successful candidate will work on large-scale projects and drive the direction of the Customer Business Support team within Liberty Wines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with Designers, Brand Managers, Buying and Shipping to produce all price lists in printed and electronic format;

- Write the content of the Quarterly Promotional Brochure for independent retailer customers as well as work with Designers for production and printing;

- Work with Marketing Support, Communications and Brand Management to set content and timing of customer newsletters and product emails;

- Oversee cross-team projects to improve accuracy and updating of product technical and marketing data;

- Manage a diverse team to effectively prioritise work and maximise synergies.  Work with the team to ensure that there is day to day cover for all key tasks and that the role of supporting our customers remains industry leading;

- Manage the Sales Support and Education teams who provide day to day support for our customers and sales teams.


Skills & Experience:

- Experienced manager with in depth knowledge of customer services
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Wine knowledge essential, preferably WSET Level 3 or above
- Excellent writing and copy-editing skills
- Good knowledge of IT systems, especially Excel
- Strong commercial and operations awareness

Warehouse Assistant (Evening Shift)

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team.   Reporting directly to the Warehouse Assistant Manager, the role will have responsibility for the following:

Warehouse

-Picking and preparation of orders for despatch;
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift);
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels;
- Ensuring service standards are maintained and work processes are followed and continually monitored to be improved;
- High attention to detail.

Stock Replenishment

- Stock put away from our daily stock replenishment;
- Ensuring accuracy of stock put away into correct locations.

General

- Working in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures;
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities;
- Any other reasonable tasks as required.

Person Specification

- Flexi forklift licence desired but not essential;
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail;
- Able to work unsupervised, and plan own workload;
- Computer literate.

Hours

- Evening shift shift 1:30pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday and 10am to 6:30pm on Friday (40 hours per week)
