Vinho Verde On the Rise

Vinho Verde is a region in the cool, rainy part of north-western Portugal, bordered to the north by the Minho River adjacent to Spain. The region's wines have seen a continued growth in popularity over the last few years with statistics from the region's representative body CVRVV showing a 29% growth in Vinho Verde exports by volume to the UK from 2012-2015.
